One customer described a project involving restricted access, a property with no right angles and non-standard construction including cob, stone, sandstone and rubble. The work required different parts of the building to be carefully measured and adapted as the project progressed.
That type of experience matters because groundwork and structural work often uncover conditions that are difficult to predict fully before work begins.

Extension roof replacement, relocation of kitchen, Restoration & Refurbishment
We are extremely pleased with the work that Dominic's Green's team (The Builders) did at our terraced cottage. Despite many logistic conundrums (re access, no right angles, age or building and non traditional construction - cob, stone, sandstone, rubble, etc!) the team did a brilliant job. The brief was to replace 4 existing rear roofs - 3 different apexes and 1 flat - with one single apex roof with skylights.
Each roof rafter had to be hand measured and cut to a different size - a real work of art in itself - and would have been delightful to have been able to have kept exposed to admire - but regs demanded proper insulation, thus hiding them from sight! With the roof in situ we were able to knock down 2 internal walls and relocate our previously micro kitchen into a fabulous new space, and create a lovely new snug with views. During the process both of our tiny bathrooms had to be updated - which we're delighted with. Several 'oddities' were discovered - like the 1912 bathroom extension that had been built around a caste iron gutter - cause of so much of our leaks and damp.
Our build extended over the 2 significant snowstorms or 2018 and we, with our cats and dog had to live in the house as work progressed. Throughout the build we were looked after and treated respectfully by the team, our foreman in charge of the entire job onsite daily, pulling in different trades efficiently, as needed. All was left as clean and tidy as possible each day end. Recommend. A+
